Central Trail at Cacapon State Park

UPDATE: Recent AllTrails reviews say there are tons of ticks in the elbow-high grass on the Ziler loop trail, so switching to the Central trail! Details:

Meet at the Batt Picnic area (screenshot below).

A chill pace hike of a moderately challenging route, the central loop trail.

Bring bug spray, water and snacks!

Distance: 5-mile loop, approximately 754 feet of elevation gain (AllTrails)

Difficulty: moderate

Weather: 62 and sunny!
